As per Renewal of Consent by MPCB dated 02.11.2023, , FnF Surplus has been granted the prestigious status of the only State Pollution Control Board Authorised Recycler for near-expiry and expired aroma chemicals, essential oils, and fragrances by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB).

This authorisation empowers FnF Surplus to reprocess these fragrance and flavour materials, transforming them into a diverse range of odoriferous substances through blending, mixing, and fractional distillation. These repurposed materials can then be utilised in the production of agarbattis (incense sticks), air care products, and a wide array of home and hygiene items.

This groundbreaking development aligns seamlessly with the government’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework, which aims to reduce the overall environmental impact of products and their packaging throughout their life cycle. By facilitating the take-back, recycling, and responsible disposal of these materials, FnF Surplus is leading the charge in creating a more circular economy.

Moreover, this authorisation aligns seamlessly with the government’s “Mission LiFE 2022-23” (Lifestyle for the Environment), which focuses on driving a change in demand by encouraging institutions to adopt simple, eco-friendly practices.

By reprocessing expired and surplus materials, FnF Surplus is making a tangible and measurable impact in terms of sustainability, reducing waste, water consumption, and environmental damage.

As the MPCB-authorised recycler, FnF Surplus is poised to revolutionise the fragrance and flavour industry, setting a new standard for environmental stewardship and responsible resource management. Join us in our mission to create a more sustainable future, where waste is transformed into valuable resources and the environment is protected for generations to come.
